Who we are?

History

Founded in 1998 and recognized as a public utility organisation since 2003, CNRR has been a member of the European Council for Refugees and Exiles (ECRE) since 2000 and the coordinator of the European network ELENA (European Legal Network on Asylum) in Romania. For over 20 years, we have been dedicated to developing projects aimed at supporting and defending the rights of persons in need of international protection.

The team

Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated professionals with specialized studies in the fields of political, legal and social sciences. Our experience is complemented by close collaborations with lawyers and interpreters, thus ensuring a multidisciplinary approach which is adapted to the needs of each case. In addition, we pride ourselves on the presence of community members on the team, who bring an authentic and meaningful perspective on the specific challenges faced by the groups we support.

Who we help

We help anyone in need of international protection, with special attention to vulnerable categories such as unaccompanied children, the elderly, single-parent families and people with disabilities. We offer them legal advice and assistance, as well as support in the integration process in Romania.
